Simon Drake co-founded Space Ventures Investors in 2014. His Key Roles are:

Managing Director: Day-to-day operations, including building partnerships with emerging space companies

Portfolio Management: Monitoring of and communicating with SVI’s various investments.

Joint Venture Management: Space Commodities Exchange, Lunar Resources Registry, European Light Lunar Lander.

Reviewing Space Companies: From Start-ups to and Equities.

Research: Revising and updating SVI’s various research verticals, with a focus on the Strategic Space Value Chain and Space Resources.

Investor Relations:

• Communication with Shareholders

• Onboarding New Shareholders: Fulfilling roles such as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) (including AML Policies and Procedures, plus KYC).

Background: After working for over 15 years in marketing, publishing, consulting and in the investment banking industry (Jefferies, Goldman Sachs, Houlihan Lokey), Simon focussed on the concept of making space investing a reality for all investors, and providing vital seed funding to innovative space start-ups.

KEVIN MAC GOWAN

Kevin Mac Gowan co-founded Space Ventures Investors in 2014.
He is a Management and Marketing MBA Graduate and has studied in Europe and the US.
He has decades of experience in management consulting, advertising, marketing (B2C, B2B, digital) and has successfully founded several businesses.
Kevin is responsible for SVI’s network in Germany Switzerland, Austria and France.

Adrian Kingsford joined Space Ventures Investors in 2023.
Following a progressive 25-year career in the information technology sector, in 2021 Adrian pivoted to a new career as an executive leadership and team coach, C-level technologist, and fractional boardroom advisor. With a track record for getting things done, Adrian’s passion is helping others achieve their successful outcomes, leaving legacies for all to enjoy.

THOMAS LAZARIDIS

Thomas Lazaridis joined Space Ventures Investors in 2015. He understood the importance of the space market early on from his experience at Thales Alenia Space and the need to be involved in the New Space industry.
He has years of experience as a strategic and commercial investment advisor in the infrastructure industry and operational experience in the space sector.
