Space Ventures Investor is designed for European and international investors who see the long-term value of space investing and require a united space investment. The following examples of Generations are how we see the new breed of Space Investors.
The European Retirees Reflecting on the Past and Future
The NewSpace economy is now part of the European economy, but for many retirees they were born in, and grew up during the German Economic Miracle, or The Wirtschaftswunder.
This period was also colloquially known as the Miracle on the Rhine: the rapid reconstruction and development of the economies of West Germany and Austria after World War Two.
This European sense of optimism and industrial progress was normal, but etched in the memories of their parents and grandparents was not only conflict, but before that, the Great Depression; industry and society in economic turmoil.
As the decades moved on, and as their family grew and their children left home to pursue careers, the couple could see new changes from an intergenerational perspective: Globalisation, the evolving role of the European Union, Society in General, where lay the foundation for productivity and what now was the engine of wealth?
As they recognised change they managed to artfully invest for the future of not only their children, but now their grandchildren. The next European generation must participate in a developing economy, yet the industries in development were not roads and factories for automobiles, they were information, communication and the space economy.
The couple, now retired, having built a portfolio that is part growth (real estate, IT, AI), and part protection (infrastructure, precious metals) have taken the time to research space as investment. Their criteria is strict: Accountability and reporting, based in Europe, invests in Europe, and itself a fortress from economic malaise.
European Space Ventures is suited to the retired couple, as its portfolio approach minimises risk, and included investing in stable assets, while also researching what emerging space companies will be the industrial leaders of tomorrow.
The Gen-X Technology Professional
He saw the Dot-Com Boom as a teenager and knew the world had changed; communication, entertainment, work, investing, almost everything. And now Space is reshaping the world and economies.
He has followed changes in many new technologies. As he entered his twenties, he became an articulate and adventurous investor; not a trend follower, he wanted to create lasting wealth with the market-makers; that takes time to research, and an aptitude for risk-management; passion and bravery in investing can be a volatile mix.
Over time he matured into a seasoned and disciplined investor. He saw first hand the rise of Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, and NFTs, that were forcing the financial ecosystem to evolve. He also calculated how AI was re-shaping the world of work and research. So much was now possible, what new heights were there?
All through his life his gaze was forever dancing from new trends to old marvels, like the space race that took place before his time and sent humans to our neighbouring planet.
He began to see space as an industry, that while not triggering imminent (short-term) technological change, was actually the lever for change; navigation relies on specific satellites, global communication requires fleets of satellites at different orbits. The flow on effects are instrumental in augmenting national industries. Behind all these incremental changes is technology hardware providing a core backbone to progress.
As an experienced investor in technology he began to build a space investing portfolio, participating in multiple Space IPOs and well-known space SPACs on the NASDAQ.
He understood the excitement and the risk involved in being a first investor in emerging rocket companies and manufacturers of next-generation satellites.
With time he matured to focus on what space investing kept pace with new technology and where the space industry was heading.
European Space Ventures is a perfect fit, as it builds stakes in new space companies complemented by a de-risking strategy of investing in a wider strategic space value chain.
The Gen-Z Space Gamer
From a young age he had an interest in space exploration, as a boy he enjoyed books about astronauts discovering new worlds, and knew when the International Space Station was flying over his small town in Europe. As he grew he moved from making models from his favourite science fiction movies to playing space simulation software, such as Kerbal Space Program on Playstation, and Spaceflight Simulator 2 and Space Engineers on the Steam gaming platform.
After he finished school he researched emerging trends in IT and then studied a niche coding language. After his studies he entered the workforce as a software engineer for a European start-up. He saw how local funding for local start-ups was crucial to their success.
As a young professional adult he understands the discipline and precision required to design, maintain and operate complex systems. From his space gaming experiences he has fond memories of virtual space exploration, and follows the news relating to new space exploration missions and the companies developing the hardware and software to make interplanetary operations possible. He understands the basics of investing, yet is reticent to invest in a high-risk overseas crowd funded space start-up or a new space fund that is not back space pioneers.
Instead he would prefer a European based space-investment, that he can monitor weekly, and know that his space investment is supporting local space companies.
European Space Ventures fits his investment criteria, as it invests mainly in European space stocks and companies of varying sizes.
The Millennial Professional
She grew up in Eastern-Europe and remembers fondly the passion of engineers, many from her own family, for developing space technology for the former USSR. After completing a degree in a scientific field, she moved to the Nordic Region, and has worked her way up in a global research company to a mid-tier position. She has specialised knowledge in a sought-after field and has a passion for innovation. During her early working career she became interested in investing, mainly in companies in the industry where she worked, and developed a trading strategy that suited her mindset.
After having children, and juggling work and family, she wonders what the future will be for her children. As an educated and well travelled modern woman she enjoys tracking emerging technologies and has decided now is the time to invest in space. She acquainted herself with stocks, funds, bonds and convertible notes, and determined that one space investment in a safe European jurisdiction, in a company with a wide portfolio, where her shareholding position has a vote, is the right direction for her.
European Space Ventures is suited to her investment criteria, being a German-based space investing company that invests predominantly in European space stocks and companies of varying sizes.
The Next Generation: Tokenised, Commoditised and Financially Fulfilling.
Right now high school students across Europe and the world are thinking of the future. They don’t see shares of companies, they see smart contracts. They don’t see the Moon as a Cold War objective, they want a part of the Lunar Mining opportunity, that they can invest in, and trade, via their smartphones via regulated platforms, and receive a Moon Mining Royalty to supplement their pension plans in the late 21st century.
While their goals are technologically viable and in time commercially available, their space investing standards are appreciated: The rise of FinTech, of smart contracts, of cryptocurrency as the enabler of new forms of financial products, will be used to energise the space economy.
They may still be in school, but soon they will be at university or working, and their dreams and standards for investing are rooted in their youthful expectations.
The future is where space investing is tokenised, space resources are commoditised, and the profits flow back to the investors, both large and small.European Space Ventures AG keeps up to date with the changes and developments that our future young space investors expect.
