Every week news networks highlight the emergence of space as an industry; sub-orbital or orbital tourism, and the launch of new satellites that lead to new discoveries observed on earth, in our solar system, and in the universe.
On a more local level, the latest shift in U.S. Government policy to rely more on commercial space ventures can be seen as a opening the door for a new market: Space as an industry was tied to military and government ventures, and commercial activities like telecommunications, weather monitoring and limited space tourism.
Now a new wave of entrepreneurs and technologies are bringing space back down to ground and back up again: Formerly space ventures were paid for by taxes. Now they can be financed by astute investors and executed by entrepreneurs and visionaries who see the commercial opportunities of space. These opportunities were once sidelined by constraints like history (e.g. the cold war) and a lack of technology. Hurdles that once existed have been overcome and innovation, demand and grand expectations are the drivers of a new space race.
It is this exciting dawning of a new space race, Space Ventures Investors is committed to bridging private and institutional investors with commercial space ventures.
Commercial Space will form the next chapter in the history of space.
In many aspects commercial space is already a reality.
Established aerospace firms provide technologies that we use every day (e.g. satellites communications) and Commercial Space, or sometimes referred to as NewSpace, companies are pioneering technology for applications that can unlock value once they're on the market or operational.
